The CAJUN RELIEF FOUNDATION IN THE PRESS
The Cajun Relief Foundation is the go to outlet for fact based information from the citizen’s viewpoint for media coverage of the disastrous flooding across the gulf region over the last year.
Cajun Relief is a long-term recovery organization with citizen-led teams working in every state affected including, Louisiana, Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico.
Due to our calm demeanor and recent but broad disaster experience, our opinion has been sought from dozens of local and national media outlets since the emergence of the Cajun Navy during the disastrous 2016 flooding.
Our founders have made five appearances on the Fox Business network, several Weather Channel appearances as well as appearances on the Sean Hannity show, Rush Limbaugh show, Baton Rouge Business Report, American Family Radio with Sandy Rios, the Miami Herald, American Military News and many other online radio, television and online outlets.
Our common sense engagement in the often messy world of organic relief has created a demand for our founder’s viewpoints on the current state and future of disaster relief in the gulf region.

In the face of a flood, Noah built an ark. Rob Gaudet and the many volunteers with the Cajun Navy used an App.
As record-breaking mid-August rainfall mercilessly hammered a large swath of South Louisiana — most notably East Baton Rouge, Livingston and Ascension Parishes — Gaudet applied his tech savvy (he’s a dot-net engineer by trade) to help with the effort to organize a floating rescue militia of boat-owning volunteers cleverly known as The Cajun Navy.
